A bargain for what it is.
  • PROS
  • Excellent performance at closer distances, waterproof, ability to add a separate microphone. Good price.
  • CONS
  • Poor zoom quality and poor sound quality from built in microphone.
  • The Bottom Line
  • It’s cheap, it’s waterproof, has decent video performance, is compact and uses SD memory cards with a rechargeable battery and you can add a microphone. Kodak hits a home run.

Excellent picture quality and durability, but low-light video quality, battery-life and microphone are lacking.

  • 1080p video quality in well-lit situations, very durable and solid, goes underwater.
  • CONS
  • Low-light video quality, battery life, microphone choppiness.
  • The Bottom Line
  • I would recommend this camera if you want to take short videos in good lighting/underwater, but not if you want to record for long periods or in low light.
