You can participate in this experience on your own or with a group of friends (up to 5 people). Firstly, you brew the beer. Secondly, you bottle the beer. This beer brewing experience consists of two sessions at our Melbourne brewery. The price quoted is for one brew, so grab your mates and schedule a trip to the Barley Corn Brewery! During your first visit you will decide on the brew that you want to make and select your ingredients. There are over 100 beer recipes to choose from and these include lagers and ales, pilsners and stouts, and various international and local styles of beers from standard, boutique and top-shelf ranges. We use only the finest ingredients and you will be given expert assistance to ensure that your brew is as delicious as possible! Once you have decided on your brew and carefully selected your ingredients, the brewers will help you add them to your brew kettle at predetermined times. Once finished you have to go home and wait... be patient! Your golden brew is awaiting your return. After two weeks you will return to the brewery to bottle or can your beer! During these two weeks the brewers will have kept your beer at controlled temperatures and the yeast will have done its job. As the beer ferments it will develop a flavour unique to the recipe that you have used. When you return to can or bottle your beer we will have it chilled, filtered and ready to go! You will learn how to bottle your own beer straight from the tap! We supply all bottles or cans and cartons for your beer. Custom-made labels can be purchased at an extra cost.
